‘the draize train’ - rare instrumental smiths track. moz is incredible but no denying the combo of johnny marr, andy rourke, and mike joyce. the same track was used by bryan ferry on ‘the right stuff’ some years later when he and johnny got in the studio together.

discovery - ‘so insane’

so the discovery LP has definitely lived up to expectations as one of the freshest albums of the summer (if we ever get a summer here in NYC). Heavy 808’s, bouncy synths, and infectiously catchy melodies… nothing groundbreaking but fun poolside pop. songs with angel deradoorian (dirty projjies) and ezra (vampy wknd) are also well worth a listen.
